Market-oriented Skills and Vocational training
Mera Parivar The project offers vocational training opportunities that
respond to market demand to the poor. To date, more than 178 diploma
students from low-income households have received. In addition, nearly 370
short-course trainees received 6-month vocational training in 4 trades
including computer course ,beauty and swing
–garments Jewelry making . Within six months of completing the courses, 55% of
the trainees were employed for livelihood .
Mera Parivar make a meaningful dent in the job market,
when their offered courses match with the market needs
Mera Parivar Training Centre informal workforce, with no
prior formal skills training or certification. Now, the project will do secondary
level vocational training program.” Its support spans primary, secondary,
tertiary and vocational levels and also focuses on out-of school-Youth
